The WooCommerce Software Add-on enables you to sell license keys for software through your online store. Customers receive auto-generated license keys in their order-complete email and can access their purchased keys, view activations, and manage licenses through the system. Additionally, the extension provides reports on software sales, offers API integration for license validation, and allows for the creation of paid software upgrades.

2. Customers can purchase software products and receive auto-generated license keys in their order-complete email.
3. Order emails provide the license key, activation email, and remaining activations. Resending emails is possible using the built-in feature in WooCommerce.
4. Valid upgrade keys can be defined for introducing paid upgrades, allowing customers to enter their license details during purchase.
5. License keys associated with orders can be viewed and edited on the orders screen, and an overall list of keys can be accessed in the License Keys section. The extension also provides reports on software sales and activations. Additionally, an API is available for key generation, license activation, deactivation, and resetting for integration into software or web applications.
